Another investment ‘scam’ in Davao del Norte carted away P209-M

TAGUM CITY (MDN Mindanao News, June 16) – Police authorities in Tagum City are now tracing the whereabouts of another investment scam that reportedly carted away around P209 Million Pesos from their victims.

Police investigators said their office in Tagum is filing a case of large-scale estafa against the owners and board of directors of QuestLink Digital Marketing Services. This, after the police office received complaint from a man who called himself an investor of said company.

The complainant, according to police initial investigation, has claimed that operators of Questlink were allegedly gone after duping more than P200 Million of investment money.  

PCapt Anjanette Tirador, TCPO spokesperson on Saturday said his office is now tracing the whereabouts of a certain Kennerth Paz Nagas, who was reportedly having an address in Quezon City but he could no longer be reached at press time. Nagas was Questlink’s executive officer, while a certain Rogie Sabando also acted as the company operations manager.

The said complainant according to Capt Tirador visited their office and revealed that he was the agent of around 100 investors who invested a total of P209-M to Questlink company, and they were all allegedly promise a staggering 500-percent return of investment after 15 days. 

The police officer also claimed the complainant is now under police protection and custody while they are in the process of filing large-scale-estafa case against the officers and owners of Questlink.

Based on the complainant’s revelations, the investments of P209 Million from different individuals were splaced between June 4 until and Queslink just started in Tagum City last June 1.

The police officer said the company has no office in Tagum and they gave their their payouts at a hotel in the city thru their agents who are now subject of police manhunt.     

The first “payout” should have been scheduled next week and members will start receiving P500 percent ROI. ###
