CAGAYAN de Oro City–Cash prizes, iPads, and an all-expense paid trip to an exciting Asian destination awaits the winners of this year’s 14th Bright Leaf Agriculture Journalism Awards.
Maricris B. Montinola, secretariat of the 14th Bright Leaf Agriculture Journalism Awards, said all agriculture stories and photos published or aired between September 1, 2019 to January 30, 2021 are qualified for submission.
Montinola said that this year’s the Bright Leaf Caravan will be streamed online due to the pandemic brought about by the Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
“Safety of everyone is our foremost concern and reaching out to more journalists would be still accomplished,” said Montinola.
The categories include: Agriculture Story of the Year, Tobacco Story of the Year, Agriculture Photo of the Year, Tobacco Photo of the Year, Best Agriculture TV program or Segment, Best Agriculture News Story – National, Best Agriculture News Story – Regional, Best Agriculture Feature Story – National, Best Agriculture Feature Story- Regional, Best Agriculture Radio Program or Segment, Best Agriculture Online Story, and Best Story in Tobacco Product Alternatives.
Entry to the competition is free. There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit.
Deadline for submission is on January 30, 2021. Entries can be sent via website, email or courier.
