A Surprise Gift From A Friend Amid The Pandemic

Life is already hard enough for Candelaria Ramada and her family. Living in the remote town of Pilar, Camotes in the province of Cebu, Aling Daria has led a difficult life with her husband and five children.

Aling Daria’s husband is a farmer and a carpenter. The family does not have a property of their own. The couple strives to give their best and raise their kids with the little that they have.

Everything appeared to be well until the pandemic struck. For most people, finding an alternative to survive may be simple. Losing a source of income, on the other hand, can be a death sentence for Aling Daria and her family. Aling Daria recounts that when the epidemic first broke out, she didn’t know what else to do to help support her family.

Little did she know, an apparent surprise was on its way when she decided to enter a raffle organized by the AP Partylist. Not knowing if she will win and second-guessing herself, Aling Daria gave it a shot and sent a raffle entry.

Leaving it all up to fate, Aling Daria waited until the pleasant news came that she did win the raffle. The prize was all she had hoped for, and she was astounded. She was rewarded with groceries supplies that she and her family could need, delivered just in time for the holidays.

Aling Daria had an even better idea. She resolved to transform her good fortune into a little business that she and her family could count on for a long time. The unexpected gift from the AP Partylist has turned into a source of income for their family during this pandemic. She expresses her gratitude to Cong Ronnie Ong and the AP Partylist with a joyous and worry-free heart. She stated that she and her family would cherish this unique present they received. To further her good fortune, a surprise gift arrived on behalf of actor Coco Martin, which made Christmas even more special. Aling Daria and her family received a flat-screen TV that she and her family now enjoy. Despite these challenging times, Christmas has indeed never been this special for the Ramada family of Camotes, Cebu.
