SECRETARY Conrad Estrella III of the Department of Agrarian Reform led the distribution of some 377 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) from fourten (14) municipalities in Lanao del norte received Certificates of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs) and SPLIT e-Titles from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) on Thursday , May 4, 2023, Top Officials said.
ARBs of Lanao del Norte were joined by ARBs from Misamis Occidental during the CLOA and e-Titles Distribution activity held at the Mindanao Civic Center Gymnasium in the presence of Sentor Francis Tolentino.
Sec. Estrella conveyed his elation for the ARBs that after many years, they have received their land titles – a symbol that they are now the legal owners of the land that they are tilling. “Ang mga ARBs kino-congratulate ko kayong lahat sapagkat natupad ang gusto ng ating mahal na Pangulo,” Estrella said.
A total of 304 CLOAs covering 529.5455 hectares and 81 E-Titles covering 131.4621 hectares of Lanao del Norte were cordially received by the beneficiaries.
“Ako po ay humihiling sa inyo na sana wag nyong pakawalan yang lupa na yan sapagkat nasa batas po na hindi nyo maaring ibenta ang lupa na ibinigay sa inyo sa loob ng sampung taon,” Estrella added.
Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo, along with the two Congressional Representatives, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Dimaporo and Congresswoman Sittie Aminah Dimaporo, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members of the two districts, and all the Mayors were present to extend their heartfelt thanks for the unwavering support of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Romualdez Marcos Jr. in helping the Provincial Government in advancing critical programs for the constituents.
Governor Angging also thanked the DAR saying, “Nais ko din pong ipaabot ang akong taos pusong pasasalamat sa Department of Agrarian Reform led by the good Secretary Estrella, sa kanilang initiatibo at walang sawang pagbibigay suporta, opportunidad at mga programang tumutulong sa bawat komunidad na umunlad, lalong-lalo na dito sa aming probinsya.”
Now that the beneficiaries have legal documents to their land ownership, the Governor also stressed the importance of cooperation and hardwork among recepients saying, “Ako nanghinaot nga sa pagdawat ninyo sa gassa sa pagpanag-iya sa yuta nga inyong giugmad, inyo kining ampingan og mapalambo pa, aron mamahimo ini nga instrumento sa pag-uswag sa inyong tagsa-tagsa ka pamilya.”
The newly promoted DAR personnel – Chief and Municipal Agrarian Reform Officers (CARPOs and MARPOs) of Lanao del Norte and Misamis Occidental also took the opportunity to take oath before the DAR Secretary and officials, including Usec. Atty. Kazel Celeste, Usec. Amihilda Sangcopan, Asec. Atty. Marjorie Ayson, and Regional Director Zoraida Macadingda(ATM)
