𝗗𝗔𝗠 𝗢𝗕𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡’𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛, 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗬𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗨𝗠

𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗨 𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗚𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚 (𝗗𝗔𝗠), 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 — This municipal government successfully observed on Thursday, March 30 the culmination program of the annual women’s month celebration with the theme, “We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.”

𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝘆 “𝗛𝗮𝗱𝗷𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗺” 𝗨𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 said beneficiaries of the activity were solo parents of each barangay, the Ummahat, and Ustadzes in the municipality. They were given rice assistance, grocery items and non-food items.

The local government partnered with the Office of Maguindanao del Sur 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲-𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 where they gave each beneficiary 5 kilos of rice and grocery items, while non-food-items were distributed by the Bangsamoro Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD).

“We served around 100 solo parent beneficiaries, 200 Ummahat and 108 Ustadzes,” the lady mayor emphasized.

As part of the celebration, Vice-Governor Midtimbang led a Ramadhan Symposium which is one of the traditional programs conducted annually during the Holy Month of Ramadhan.

Guest speakers during the symposium were Ustadz Saguir Salendab, Ustadz Abdulhamid Usman, Ustadz Abubakar Usman, and Ustadz Muslimin Limba.

“This symposium is very relevant. We invited our guest speakers to impart knowledge about the teachings of Islam to the town residents,” Vice-Governor Midtimbang said. (𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗣. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗮)
