The provincial government of Lanao del Norte turned over equipment and materials for the printing and reproduction of modules to the Department of Education (DepEd) – Division of Lanao del Norte.

Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo led the turnover held at the lobby of Governor Arsenio A. Quibranza Provincial Government Center on October 9.

The equipment and materials consisting of one unit of generator set (54 kVA), 27 units of duplicating or risograph machines, 11,114 reams of bond paper, nine units of tents, 70 units of printers, and 75 external drives were received by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent (ASDS) Dr. Rosemarie T. Macesar on behalf of DepEd- Division of Lanao del Norte.

Governor Angging is supporting the distance learning program and the effort of DepEd officials in the province in making sure that no learner will be left behind.

The Provincial Chief Executive sees the need to provide such equipment and materials to help sustain the goal of the DepEd to continue the learning amidst the COVID-19 pandemic by providing printed modules to each student waiting patiently in their respective houses.

ASDS Dr. Macesar thanked the Governor and the two District Representatives of Lanao del Norte, 1st District Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo and 2nd District Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo, for positively responding to their requests and actively supporting the programs, projects, and activities of their Division in delivering quality education to the learners, especially in these trying times.

The Provincial Government and the two Congressional District Offices consider education as a top priority in helping sustain the mission and vision not only in imparting knowledge to the learners but also in nurturing unity in the minds and hearts of the youth towards sustainable peace and development in the province.
