DPWH turns-over new motor pool building to Lanao del Norte LGU

Department of Public Works and Highways-Lanao del Norte 2nd District Engineering Office (LDN2 DEO) recently turned-over to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte the newly completed multi-purpose building situated at the Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) compound, in the capital town of Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

The massive building will be used as a parking area for motor pool vehicles as well as a repair shop for the periodic servicing of provincial vehicles, and replacement of defective parts and engine fluids.

The formal ceremony was led by District Engineer Alykhan Ali and Representative Mohamad Khalid Dimaporo of the 1st Congressional District of Lanao del Norte.

“PEO has always been there for the provincial government, that is why PEO will always be in my mind and in my heart," expressed Congressman Dimaporo during his speech.

The multi-purpose building was completed within 154 calendar days with a project cost of P19.2-million.

“We are happy to be a part of this project which will empower more the PEO in performing its mandate and enable them to provide quality infrastructure to the peace-loving people of Lanao del Norte," District Engineer Ali said.

For her part, Provincial Engineer Marietta Borillo vowed to properly maintain the new building to prevent workplace accidents and prolong the building’s functional years. (VNL/DPWH-LN2 DEO)
