ILIGAN CITY (PIA)--Six provincial hospitals operated by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte will soon have a centralized medical warehouse to help ensure effective management of hospital supplies.
In the groundbreaking and time capsule laying ceremony held at the provincial capitol grounds in the capital town of Tubod last October 14, Governor Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo expressed her gratitude to 1st District Representative Khalid Dimaporo “"for working very hard to bring in nationally-funded projects and programs here in Lanao del Norte."
“We would like to thank Congressman Khalid for giving his slice of the pie to the provincial government," Governor Dimaporo added.
The P19.2-million multi-purpose building is expected to be completed by February 2020.
“The exponential growth of Lanao del Norte is the result of the solid partnership between the Executive and Legislative, both in the provincial and national levels," District Engineer Alykhan Ali said.
The medical storage facility will help secure the provincial hospitals’ medicines, intravenous solutions, first aid products, protective equipment, personal care products, and respiratory and orthopedic supplies.
Among the hospitals that will soon benefit from the centralized medical warehouse are Balo-i Provincial Hospital, Kauswagan Provincial Hospital, Kolambugan Provincial Hospital, Baroy Provincial Hospital, Kapatagan Provincial Hospital and SND Provincial Hospital.
Other recently completed DPWH projects in Lanao del Norte include the New Provincial Jail, Provincial Health Office Building, and the Panguil Bay Bridge approach road. (DPWH-PIO)
