The officials of the Panabo City Hall Government Employees Association (PCHGEA) met with City Mayor Jose E. Relampagos for the first time during their courtesy call in his office last July 31, 2019 to present their current programs and activities for the employees of the City Government of Panabo.
Current programs of the PCHGEA for the employees are: Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentives, medical assistance and check-up, separation benefits, low-interest loans, housing programs, and burial assistance or dayong. The association also sponsors an annual talent and sports activity for the employees.
“Kaning inyong programa alang sa mga empleyado, akong nakita nga maayo. Ato kining ipadayon. (I can see that your programs for the welfare of the LGU employees are good. Let us continue these projects.)” said Mayor Relampagos.
PCHGEA President Mel-Jun Badal and Vice President Antolin Leopardas were grateful to know that the City Mayor supports the projects of the union as it is a way for the City Government to encourage and protect the employees.
The City Mayor also promised to grant the association with an office in the City Hall to centralize PCHGEA administrative concerns and operations.
