DAVAO CITY – The 3rd Philippine Sports Tourism Awards recently concluded with its roster of movers and shakers of sports tourism. Davao City, together with Sunrise Events Inc., was among the awardees—bagging the Destination Marketing of the Year Award for hosting the 70.3 Ironman triathlon of 2018.
Organized by Selrahco PR and Primetime Plan Bravo, the Philippine Sports Tourism Awards, now in its 3rd year, seeks to recognize and celebrate the movers and shakers of sports as a major pillar of Philippine tourism.
Among those awarded the prestigious PSTA trophies were local governments, private companies, venues, conventions, and more. A total of 14 awards were presented in the Grand Bar & Lounge of Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.
Davao City Tourism Officer Generose Tecson along with Sunrise Events Inc. GM Princess Galura received the award.
