Camp Rodriguez, Libertad, Butuan City ------ After the closing of Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) yesterday (October 3), the 80 police personnel will be assigned to the mobile forces to boost counterinsurgency drive in Caraga.

The graduates, who are all male with the rank of patrolman, completed the 60-day training at the Regional Special Training Unit 13 in Santiago, Agusan del Norte.

PNP Caraga Director Brigadier General Joselito T. Esquivel, Jr disclosed that the training had equipped the rookie cops with knowledge, attitude, skills, and values in the conduct of internal security operations.

“With this training, we are optimistic to score more substantial gains against insurgency. Meanwhile, we encourage the public to help us in creating an environment amenable to our victory because public safety is everyone’s concern,” the region’s top cop added.

The newly BISOC-trained personnel will be added to the roster of troops of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 13.
