FOR almost two years now, the Misamis Oriental provincial government extension office in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental has served more than 20,000 constituents since it opened in September 2019.
That's thanks mainly to the owner of the place, lawyer and former Cagayan de Oro City Councilor Nadya Emano.
Balay Nenotcka is a wide expanse of space and structures that house the various services of the provincial government extension office in Zone 11, Poblacion, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.
After serving her term as councilor, Emano decided to return to her hometown in Tagoloan and assisted her brother Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano by hosting the extension office at Balay Nenotchka, named after their late sister.
"Kining ako pure volunteerism ra g'yud ni. We do not just cater to Tagoloanons but to all constituents of Misamis Oriental," Atty. Nadya Emano said.
Among the services that the extension office is offering are legal consultations, minor surgeries, circumcision, social services, 3-in-1 services (embalment, wake and funeral) and financial assistance.
“Congratulations sa atong extension office sa may lungsod sa Tagoloan. Keep up the good work. Bisan paman ug unsay buhaton sa pagpangguba ug pangdaot kaninyo, ayaw mo pagpakahuyang, magmalig-on kamo kay tan-awa 21,000 na ka serbisyo ang inyong natunol,” Gov. Emano said.
For her part, Atty. Nadya Emano urged the constituency in Misamis Oriental to continue patronizing the services in the extension office, saying they have an option if they cannot go to the provincial capitol in Cagayan de Oro City.
