THE SITUATION IN CHINA became worst with the deaths yesterday of 242 patients infected with the deadly Covid-19 virus, the highest number of deaths so far in just one day. This new deaths bring the total number Covid-19 death toll to 1,367 and more than 50,000 infected and now treated in secluded hospitals and newly built cencentration buildings to fully contain the spread of the virus.

There Covid-19 also infected an additional 14,840 people as of yesterday (February 12) This number, according to health officials, already includes "clinically disagnosed" cases. Of this new figure, 13,332 fall into this type of classification, it was learned.

Covid-19 hits 50 in Singapore

The deadly corona virus also hit 50 patients in Singapore, the highest number of virus infections outside of China as of February 12, 2020. Singapore is now ranked third and this alarmed other countries of the world like the United States. The virus appeared to have infected so easily all over the world.

A team of international experts are now sent to Beijing by the World Health Organization (WHO).

WHO officials said a team of experts are sent to Beijing, China, to conduct investigation on why the deadly virus has been claiming lives of more than 50 victims everyday, and confirming fears the virus can be infected through human-to-human transmission.

WHO officials have yet to confirm that the mode of transmission of the deadly coronavirus is human-to-human. The deadly coronavirus resulted to many cities in China becoming 'ghost towns.' The Communist Party leaders have ordered lockdowns in many communities, cancelled flights as well as shutdown schools and closed factories.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO director-general told the media that WHO experts are also sent to Beijing for a scheduled meeting with China's top leader and President Xi Jinping and all other Chinese leaders in January 2020.

"I've just been at the airport seeing off members of an advance team for the WHO-led 2019nCoV international expert mission to China, led by Dr Bruce Aylward, veteran of past public health emergencies," Tedros told the media in an exclusive interview.

WHO declared the deadly coronavirus outbreak a global emergency last January 30, 2020, days after the Chinese Government ordered lockdowns in strategic places in Hubei Province and other neighboring cities and provinces.

Since Wuhan is known as the epicenter of the deadly coronavirus, 99 percent of those who died were Chinese people and only four were from other countries including Philippines, United States, Hongkong and Japan. Hongkong is now part of China but its people are still fighting for total independence.

Republic of China is run by a communist form of government, television networks and social media is being controlled by the government, so that when the virus has reached to its outbreak level, the reports on the deadly strain which allegedly came from bats, did not easily reached the attention of world leaders.

China has a different style in running the affairs of the government by controlling all the media outlets and that already includes all trimedia organizations in the country as well as the social media networks.

Since China have their own brand of running social media they have created and established their own social media platforms like among others - The Chinese Government has banned and blocked international sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram, Google, Gmail, Vimeo, GitHub, Google Maps, Wikipedia, Twitter, Dropbox and The New York Times. This is among the reasons why the 2019 Coronavirus information did not easily leak to the different countries of the world.
